You may contact me by answering or on jonesy121uk at yahoo. co. uk.
So, if you are slim and have great legs please get in touch!
Cheers, Jonesy :) | | Yeah, JUST what the internet REALLY needs! another porn site. I just can't believe how FEW there are on the net. | Getting work as a model photographer? I am an amateur photographer and I have a strong desire to photograph models of all sorts (fashion, nudes, plus size, glamour, etc.) But I'm not exactly sure about how to break into that industry. I've tried looking for models online who will do work for prints and not for pay but it doesn't attract anyone. Is there a better way? Does anyone know of websites that I can visit? I really just need to gain the experience so I can start a portfolio. | | I've got the perfect website for you... www.modelmayhem.com. There is plenty of models on that website that are willing to work for tfcd or tfp. You can search by your area and you can put out casting calls... It's really a great website and I've gotten to work with quite a few models from it... all tfcd. | What is the average annual salary of a professional photographer? I've always been interested to know this. How much can a professional photographer earn? For example, maybe a glamour photographer with a website for amateur models? | most photographers such as myself are self employed so it's up to you how much you earn.
on average you charge by the hour and this rate depends on where you live (it's much more in London).
for a photographers assistant it's minimum wage, but for the photographer it is between £75- £150 an hour depending on the job. But you have to be very good and know the right people as there is massive competition.
p.s sorry mate but the best glamour photographer at the min is a women, models seem to prefer it. | How to get amateur photographers into my studio for glamour photo shoot? I have a small studio in a suburban location. I have a several young models who need work. No touching. No exposed genitalia. I'm not a pimp. They are not whores.
I'm thinking around $150 for a 90 minute session. I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 Digital Camera for the customer to use (my current back-up) and this lighting kit www.adorama.com/SVFL270.html we will use my studio and a variety of backgrounds. 45 minutes shooting. 45 minutes editing. All photos remain my property, but I will give you a 11x14 print from my Epson Stylus.
Does this sound reasonable? The model gets $75 for a hour. She will be clothed to semi-nude. You will have a choice of about 6 women, 19 to 27 years old. One light skinned black, the others white.
Any suggestions as to how to make this more professional or legitimate is appreciated. | hang on - have I read this right.
You are wanting to get amateur photographers to use your studio to shoot young models.
You will supply the camera and even though they will be taking the pictures they will "remain" your property.
You will "give" a print and for this you are going to charge them 150.
You HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING.
1. no photographer, amateur or otherwise will agree to that
2. the only people going to take up that offer would be the raincoat brigade and why should they when they can sit in a strip club for most of the day for less than that.
3. An amateur photographer would have their own camera(s)
4. copyright of the images would be the photographers
5. this is the most unprofessional, idiotic, badly thought out idea I have heard in a long time. | Model Tips? Model Tips?

img512.imageshack.us/img512/7114/… | | Ha! | Need some advice about this? Hey ppl... got another question.. recently I've ventured into photography. I've started off with the most basic digital camera there is and hired some willing amateur models. This is to just get comfortable with the camera and working with models. I've focused on swimsuit/glamour shots. Well this is all going somewhere. There is a method to madness so to speak. My intentions since August have to make my own personal site featuring my content. A pay site, of course. I did my first model shoot in August and so far have worked with 10 models. I have been wanting to get the site up for the past 2 months but keep running into obstacles, but thankfully the models are being patient.
Here's my issues..
1. During each photo shoot, I take normally 150-200 photos in various positions/attire. This is A LOT of photo editing I have to do so, I was thinking for the actual website and images4sale and clips4sale sites, I put up about 60 pictures total, like 10 photos in each gallery. Is this a good idea? Or should I put the whole set?
2. My photoshop is Adobe Lightroom, and its overwhelming me, some of the features/treatments I just can't understand. Is there a way to learn Lightroom? I just want my pictures to look good, is there a way it can manually do it for me? | I do hop you have your model releases sorted out.
1. There's very few sites that publish large sets. But you can if you weork is good and consistant.
2. Get a book or some training vids. If your studio setup is good you can do the same adjustment easily on bulk | Need some advice here about this? 2. the pictures should look good out of the camera, you can do a "batch process" and have all the images processed the sam at the press of a button - using auto features like - auto levels, using manual features like adding saturation and or contrast
to learn photoshop or lightroom try the tutorials on youtube, or night school or community college or something, i did 2 hours every wenesday night for six months at a night school and with a tutor to learn and i have along way to go still, its wonderful | Need some photography advice? Hi everyone... well recently I've ventured into the world of photography, I went out & bought a Canon Powershot A3100 digital camera, it's the most basic digital camera pretty much, however I want to start small and get used to a general camera/taking pictures of amateur models before I spend $700-$1,200 on a professional Canon or Nikon. So I've decided on glamour/costume type photography, I found 10 willing models (paid them of course) and they let me take their photos with my basic amateur digital camera, and some of the pictures turn out absolutely awesome, they look like a pro camera took them. However, in low/medium light, specifically with dark colors such as brown, black, and purple/red, I get fuzziness in the photos. I am not sure what this is called. I have tried to adjust the sharpness on my Canon editor but it doesn't seem to work. Anyway, I'm attaching a picture so you can see what I mean. This only seems to happen when I am taking photos in "Auto" mode. When it is in general "picture" mode, the photos will turn out great.
Is there anyway I can edit this to make them clear OR avoid in this in the "auto" feature in future shoots?

i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h406/km3030/IMG_1708.jpg | as a bit of an amateur/professional photographer myself, i have encountered this problem countless times! what you are experiencing is know as digital noise. it is caused by the low-light and the level of iso required to process the image. try adjusting the iso level on the camera (obviously you won't be able to adjust it in the "auto" setting)...i believe the higher the iso level, the more digital noise in the image. if you are indoors, try increasing the lights in your studio or using an external flash (this has seemed to help me and also helps soften unwanted harsh shadows). this is a problem i am still trying to conquer myself! good luck & happy shooting!
ps: i couldn't open your picture link to actually see your sample! don't know if it was just me or not! | 'Camera that takes amazing pictures' question? Well, Christmas is coming up and i'm wanting a really great digital camera. The thing is, I don't know the first thing about going about finding a really great one. There are so many out there. I'm a glamour/swimsuit model and I really want to start taking my own amateur pictures just to mess around with the idea. Any ideas? Any really great ones? I've made mistakes of making purchases in the past on ones and they've been terrible and really didn't deliver what I wanted. They don't have to look magazine amazing.. unless there are ones out there like that. I've never handled my material before so I don't know what to look for. Price doesn't matter as I know the good ones can run pretty expensive. I just want a camera that will make me proud of my photos. Haha, it wouldn't hurt if it was pink as well, as I tend to be pretty lame and try to color-cordinate my favorite things. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! | Since you are a model, why not pick the brains of photographers you know who's work you admire?
Edited to ad...ok, since you have clarified what you are looking for, I would suggest the Fuji s9100. Low cost, great range, no messing with lens changes, built in macro, telephoto and image stabilization. It won't be grown out of quickly as it has many features found in high priced DSLRs. |
